Kyle Walker has named Oleksandr Zinchenko amongst the top three technically gifted players currently playing for Manchester City. The Ukraine international has been heavily linked with a summer move to Arsenal after becoming a peripheral figure at the Etihad.
Zinchenko was an attacking midfielder when he arrived at City in the summer of 2016. However, Pep Guardiola opted to use his ability on the ball, pace, vision and dynamism in the left-back role.
The Ukrainian thrived in the position, playing on the opposite flank to Walker and going on to achieve great success with the club. However, the acquisition of Joao Cancelo in the summer of 2019 saw Zinchenko become more of a squad player, and with just two years remaining on his deal the 25-year-old is widely expected to leave Manchester this summer.
