Arsenal team news: Reiss Nelson in line to face Bodo/Glimt as Mikel Arteta rotates for Europa League

Reiss Nelson is hoping to make his first appearance of the season tomorrow, when Arsenal face Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League.

Nelson picked up a thigh injury in August and it forced him to have a spell on the sidelines.

The winger, however, returned to training towards the end of last month and he was fit enough for a place on the bench Saturday’s north London derby win over Tottenham.

Nelson is now hoping to get minutes in the Europa League on Thursday night, with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta likely to rotate his side ahead of Sunday’s clash against Liverpool.

Wingers Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli could well be rested, which would open the door for Nelson to get some action as Emile Smith Rowe is out injured.

Brazilian winger Marquinhos, who impressed in Arsenal’s opening-round win in Zurich, is expected to start again after impressing since joining the club in the summer.
