NEW DELHI: Arsenal suffered their first defeat of the season in a thrilling Champions League clash against Lens, with the French side coming from behind to win 2-1, courtesy of a superb second-half strike by Elye Wahi.
Gabriel Jesus gave Arsenal an early lead in the 14th minute, silencing the passionate Stade Bollaert crowd. However, Adrien Thomasson quickly brought Lens back on level terms, and Arsenal's woes were compounded when Bukayo Saka limped off before half-time.
