Arsenal star defender Gabriel Magalhaes has taken aim at his critics with a pointed message on social media after his side's victory over Tottenham in the North London Derby. Goals from Thomas Partey, Gabriel Jesus and Granit Xhaka earned all three points for the Gunners.
While they made it looked comfortable at the end, it was far from that at times, with Gabriel at fault for giving away a penalty with a challenge on Richarlison. Harry Kane drew Spurs level in the first half, though the goal meant little come the final whistle.
"You’re gonna have those [difficult] moments against Spurs and all the big teams," Mikel Arteta said when reflecting on the win. "You have the feeling every time they connect with those front three every time and you have to live with that.
