Arsenal sent 'sign him' transfer demand about 'amazing' Nottingham Forest man

Arsenal supporters are sold on signing Nottingham Forest loanee Djed Spence this winter transfer window despite the player being unable to play for another club this season.

The Forest full-back, on loan from parent club Middlesbrough, has already featured for both sides this season and therefore cannot appear for a third should the north London club's reported interest come to fruition.

Arsenal fans are not too concerned about that slight inconvenience, though, and are more than convinced by the 21-year-old after his starring role in knocking them out of the FA Cup at the City Ground earlier this month.

Here is a selection of the social media reaction to the reported interest.

@nolimitmahamed: He put in a shift against us, I’d love this signing.

Art: His name is Diop Tehuti Djed-Hotep, British, U21 and Premiership. Who can go against such a signing for Arsenal?

POG: If you can't beat them join them.

Paul Nev: Exactly when we need. A player who we can’t play this season.

Sugamite: Sign him and sell Cedric and Chambers

Kamvelihle Malindi: It was obvious, back up to Tomi(yasu). He gave us problems that day, amazing player.

@nelsentaylors: I knew the club would make a move for him, he's been excellent since this season not just against Arsenal, he's been tearing it up in the Championship.

Mark: Lovely back up to Tomiyasu once we get Champions League football.

Chino: Only right-back I've seen Martinelli genuinely struggle against this season. Bring him in.

Austin Edwards: Great back up to Tomiyasu and can get rid of Bellerin and Cedric.

New Era: I've been dreaming for this since we played them, I pray we sign him.

Stocksy: He be instantly loaned back as he would be ineligible to play for us this season. Would be a fantastic signing though.
