Arsenal are notoriously meticulous when it comes to the planning of the transfer window. Sporting director Edu has worked with manager Mikel Arteta to help build a side that this season has challenged Manchester City for the league title.
The Brazilian told football.london at the London Football Awards that planning had already begun for the new season. Highlighting the importance of understanding what the aims for the coming months are so that the club can respond in the best way possible.
"It’s already started because you know what’s happening in the market everybody is doing stuff," Edu said of Arsenal's preparation for the summer. "You have to plan with people as well just to be prepared so when you go again in the summer you are very prepared."
