Arsenal offered Leandro Trossard deal as Tottenham target emerges as Mykhaylo Mudryk alternative

Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign Brighton’s Leandro Trossard as they consider alternatives to Mykhaylo Mudryk.

The Gunners missed out on their top transfer target Mudryk after Chelsea hijacked their move to sign the Ukraine international with a deal worth £88.5million.

Arsenal still want to sign a wide forward this month to strengthen their title push and they have enquired about Barcelona’s Raphinha, but it is thought the winger wants to stay at the Camp Nou.

Agents and clubs are aware Arsenal remain active in the transfer market and the Premier League leaders are expected to be offered several players over the next fortnight.

Trossard, who is attracting interest from Tottenham, wants to leave Brighton and feels he has been “humiliated” by their manager Roberto De Zerbi, according his agent.

The 28-year-old was left out of the Brighton squad for their 3-0 win over Liverpool on Saturday and is in the final six months out of his contract at the Amex Stadium.

Chelsea have also been linked with a move for Trossard.
