Arsenal's transfer chase for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk continues going into the upcoming January transfer window. The 19-year-old was linked with a switch in the summer, but the Gunners were unable to get a move over the line and may have regretted it ever since.
That's because Mudryk has gone from strength to strength ever since, making his mark on the biggest stage, scoring three and assisting twice in six Champions League appearances. It's alerted the world to his talent, with reports that Shakhtar are looking for £100million to let him leave.
Mudryk has since hinted at wanting a move to Arsenal though, saying earlier this year in an interview with Vlada Zinchenko, wife of Gunners star Oleksandr Zinchenko, on YouTube: "I check on them in 'myscore' and know when they’re playing I can check on them. I also watch them too. (Arsenal are) a very dynamic side, in general not just in controlling possession but also in scoring goals."

With the transfer window right around the corner, it remains to be seen if the Gunners can finally secure a move for Mudryk. However, he may not be the only winger from Shakhtar Donetsk moving to north London in January as he could soon have some company joining him.
That's because 90Min reports that Brazilian winger Tete has been offered to Arsenal along with a whole host of other Premier League sides. The 22-year-old is currently on loan at French side Lyon, joining them after FIFA suspended the contracts of all foreign players in Ukraine as a result of Russia's invasion, though he is still technically contracted by Shakhtar.
The Ligue 1 side are said to be moving in a different direction for the squad, meaning that Tete will be available on loan with a view to a permanent in January. While Arsenal are yet to act on the offer in the report, it could see both wingers from Shakhtar join in January.
