Arsenal news: Mykhaylo Mudryk transfer stance revealed amid £55m bid as Joao Felix talks held

Your morning Arsenal digest on Wednesday, December 28.

Mudryk fresh transfer stance

Arsenal transfer target Mykhaylo Mudryk has claimed he "can't say no" to a move to the Emirates Stadium amid the Gunners' opening bid for the forward - understood to be worth in the region of £55m.

In an interview with CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs, the 21-year-old reiterated the difficulty at saying no to the Gunners. "In the winter, we will see. There's a lot of discussions about a transfer, about clubs who want me. But it's normal," he said.

"Now, I'm in Shakhtar and I want to play in this team. I love this team. I love every guy in this team. Shakhtar for me is my home. But now, for me, it's very important, all my thoughts are only about Shakhtar. But, in the winter, we will see."

Mudryk was asked about his stance on the Premier League and Arsenal. "Every guy dreams about the Premier League," he continued. "Arsenal are a very good team. A very good coach. I like the way they play. From my side, I can't say no."

Henry's title belief

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry believes his former side are "here to stay" at the top of the Premier League after they extended their lead to seven points with a 3-1 win over West Ham.

The former Gunner pointed out the importance of having a good squad when attempting to win a league title amid Nketiah's impressive performance.

"Yes, they are here to stay, we are here to stay," he said. "We have a team, all Arsenal fans were waiting for was a team to compete - not one, two or three players. A squad.

"You win a title with a squad, this is what Nketiah showed tonight, that he can be the answer for the time-being or when (Gabriel) Jesus comes back, but that's what he did."
