Arsenal are gearing up for another decisive weekend in their push for a top-four finish, as they could potentially make a crucial step towards the Champions League.
On Saturday, their local and positional rivals Tottenham Hotspur face the unenviable task of facing Liverpool at Anfield. It means that by the time the Gunners kick off on Sunday against relegation-threatened Leeds United, they may have the chance to move four points clear.
That would be a huge boost for manager Mikel Arteta and his players, with Thursday's derby with Spurs looming large.

Arteta agrees new contract
Although Arsenal's status as a Champions League team for next season is not yet secured, the club clearly believe that Arteta is the man to take them there.
On Friday it was confirmed that the former midfielder has agreed a new deal at the Emirates Stadium, having helped the team make some significant improvements this season.
The news will delight Arteta, who has had his position questioned in the past during various difficult spells on the sidelines in north London. However, those reservations have seemingly seeped away for those who matter at the club.
"I’m excited, grateful and really, really happy today,” he said. "When I spoke to Josh [Kroenke] he could see the club at the same point and he wanted to take the club the way I wanted to do it. So everything that he’s said, and that Stan has said when I’ve been together with both of them, they’ve always delivered."

Saliba transfer claim made
Former Arsenal forward Paul Merson thinks the club should cash in on defender William Saliba if reservations remain about his ability to play in the Premier League.
The young Frenchman has performed well on loan at Marseille in spells this season, triggering excitement in the Gunners fanbase about what he could potentially offer when he returns to the club this summer.
Arsenal have found a solid pairing in Gabriel and Ben White this season and as a result, Merson thinks the club can afford to cash in on Saliba if he's still not ready.
"There must be a reason he's been loaned out three times by the club. Was he getting ripped in training? I don't see why he's still on loan otherwise.
"Arsenal paid a lot of money for him but I think if anyone offers them their money back they would take it right now. It's almost three years he's been there now and he can't get a look in. Maybe Mikel Arteta has watched him train and decided he's nowhere near ready."

Nelson reaches European final
Feyenoord will take on Roma in the final of the inaugural Europa Conference League, with Arsenal loanee Reiss Nelson playing a key role in their season to remember.
Nelson was in the starting XI for both legs of the semi-final against Marseille, as the Dutch outfit won the first 3-2 at home and then dug in for a 0-0 at the Stade Velodrome.
Overall, the loan has been challenging for the 22-year-old, as he's started just nine games in the Eredivisie this season. However, he has established his place in the starting XI in recent weeks and still has the chance to end the campaign on a high against Jose Mourinho's Giallorossi.
