Arsenal were forced to watch Manchester City celebrate their third successive Premier League crown over the weekend.
Pep Guardiola's men were confirmed as this season's champions after the Gunners' defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest. Despite Arsenal's season stuttering at its final stages, they have still managed to push a relentless City side all the way.
Mikel Arteta is already plotting how he can keep his side in the running next term. That could involve a number of alterations to the squad, both with incomings and sales.
Take a look at all of the headlines coming out of the Emirates Stadium over the past 24 hours.
Arsenal eye Gundogan swoop
Arsenal are targeting Manchester City captain Ilkay Gundogan as he attempts to reach a decision over his future. The German is out of contract this summer and could be set to leave the Etihad Stadium on a free transfer.
According to The Athletic, the Gunners hold a ‘concrete’ interest in the former Borussia Dortmund star with Mikel Arteta at the heart of their attempts to take him to the Emirates Stadium.
He is not the only City star to have been rumoured to be on Arsenal's summer shortlist, with Portuguese defender Joao Cancelo also recently linked. Arteta coached Gundogan during his time in Manchester.

Willian talks planned amid failed Gunners stint
Former Arsenal star Willian has suggested that he will hold talks with Fulham to extend his stay after admitting that his stint with the Gunners 'didn't work as expected'.
“It didn’t work as I expected,” Willian said of his time with the Gunners. “Then I went back to Brazil and I think some people thought I was finished. I proved, not for them but myself, that I could play in the Premier League again."
He added: “I have a contract [with Fulham] until the end of June and I don’t know what is going to happen. But it’s a place that I feel good to play. Let’s see. I have to speak with the club to see the situation and let’s see what can happen.”
Xhaka sets decision deadline
Granit Xhaka has dropped a heavy hint that he will be quitting Arsenal. The Swiss international said speculation over his future will be cleared up this week ahead of the Gunners’ final game against Wolves.
Asked directly after the game at Nottingham Forest, he said: “You will know next week (by Sunday), for sure. Before the Wolves game. I think the fans deserve that. And I do, as well. We have one more week of the Premier League season to go and I want to enjoy it and I want you guys to, as well.”
