Arsenal news: Lisandro Martinez's transfer preference as Gunners contract plan backfires

Lisandro Martinez Arsenal Gunners Bukayo Saka Ajax Gabriel Jesus EPL Manchester United

Lisandro Martinez would prefer a move to the Premier League this summer over staying with Ajax.

The Argentine has been linked with a big-money move and is reported to be of interest to both Arsenal and Manchester United. And despite Ajax qualifying for next season's Champions League following their Eredivisie title win, Martinez would still opt for a move if a bid is accepted by his current club.

It comes as Arsenal's plan to gain the upper hand in contract negotiations with Bukayo Saka appears to have backfired. And Gabriel Jesus has been pictured in and Arsenal shirt for the first time as a leaked photo has given away his new shirt number.
