Gabriel Jesus interest confirmed
Arsenal's need for a new striker is no secret. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang departed in the summer while both Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette are both currently set to leave on free transfers this summer.
It has left the Gunners being linked with a number of high profile targets, the latest of whom is Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus. On Saturday, Fabrizio Romano reported that the interest was 'confirmed and serious.'

Carlos Soler attracting interest
It is not just up-front that Mikel Arteta is eager to strengthen. While Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey have proven a formidable pairing in midfield, beyond the duo the Gunners are woefully short with Albert Sambi Lokonga still seemingly a fair way away from being ready for the first-team and Mohamed Elneny's future uncertain.
In the summers of 2020 and 2021, Arsenal were linked with a move for Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler. The 25-year-old has been compared to David Silva and Santi Cazorla before and BBC Sport reported on Saturday that there was once again Premier League interest in the midfielder.
Arsenal injury blow
Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka was forced off through an injury sustained in the second half of the Gunners' clash with Manchester United. The England international appeared to ask for a substitution which saw him replaced by Rob Holding, before walking off the pitch with a club physio.
The winger appeared to point to his upper leg before coming off. The severity of the injury has not yet been determined.
