Transfer blow
Reported Arsenal transfer target Adam Hlozek is set to join Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano. Taking to social media, Romano tweeted: "Bayer Leverkusen have reached full agreement to sign top Czech talent Adam Hlozek, as per @berger_pj.
"Deal set to be completed for €13m plus add-ons, 30% sell-on clause. Leverkusen are still working on a deal to sign Mychajlo Mudryk from Shakhtar."
The Gunners had been linked with a move for the Czech international as a potential replacement for Eddie Nketiah, who is into the final few weeks of his contract at the club.

Elneny contract
Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny has signed a new short-term contract at the Emirates Stadium. Speaking to the club's Media after he penned a one-year extension, the Egyptian said: "I love this club, and I feel like part of this family.
"I want to continue at this amazing club and amazing family, and I'm very happy and very excited for the future." The 30-year-old's new deal is a huge boost for the north Londoners, according to manager Mikel Arteta.
The Spaniard added: "Mo is a really important part of the team. He brings endless energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the team and is loved by everyone.
"He's an important player for us on, and off the pitch, a real role model to our younger players, and I'm delighted he's staying."

Tavares admission
Gunners defender Nuno Tavares has claimed that Chelsea playmaker Mason Mount is the toughest player he has ever faced. "Mason Mount of Chelsea," he told the Counter Attack YouTube channel when asked about the player who has been his toughest challenge during his short career.
"I think the positions, he knows the place he should be to make people feel uncomfortable, and with the ball, he has too much quality. He has goals, you know, so I think Mason Mount."

Nketiah contract u turn
Eddie Nketiah looks set to sign a new deal at Arsenal, according to the Daily Mail. It comes as the forward was set to leave the club as a free agent this summer.
The youngster has impressed late into the season, finding a flurry of goals with several Premier League starts. The 22-year-old made 21 league appearances, scoring five goals and assisting once.
Discussing the future of the striker, Mikel Arteta said: "When you see Eddie train in the way he trains, he doesn't even need to play. You know that you have a player there that is going to help you, and he's done that. Look at his numbers with the amount of games that he's played, it's terrific.
