Jordan McEneff has sent an emotional goodbye to Arsenal after his exit from the club was confirmed.
The Gunners are set for a busy summer transfer window as Mikel Arteta continues to rebuild his squad in an attempt to better last season's fifth-placed Premier League finish. The Spaniard is expected to bring in at least one forward, a central midfielder and a backup fullback, football.london understands.
A number of players will also be leaving the Emirates Stadium this summer, including veteran forward Alexandre Lacazette. The Frenchman will rejoin Ligue 1 side Lyon when his contract in north London expires at the end of the month.

Another player that was on the Gunners' released list earlier this week was central midfielder McEneff. The 21-year-old made a number of appearances for the club at youth level, frequently featuring for the Under-23 side, before spending part of the 2021/22 season on loan with Irish outfit Shelbourne FC.
Now, the young playmaker has posted an emotional goodbye on social media, thanking everyone at Arsenal for their help during the last six years. Writing on Instagram, he said: "Just wanted to say thank you to everyone at Arsenal for the last 6+ years!
"There’s been a lot of setbacks over the years but the club has stuck by me and helped me develop so much as a person and a player, I have met friends for life and wish every player, coach and member of staff all the best for the future once a gunner always a Gunner."
