Arsenal will review William Saliba's situation at the end of the season with preliminary talks over a new contract expected to take place, football.london understands.
The 20-year-old joined the Gunners all the way back in the summer of 2019, but is still yet to make his senior competitive debut for Mikel Arteta 's side, with his only appearances coming for the under-23s and in pre-season friendlies.
In that time he has been sent back to Ligue 1 for three separate loan spells, first with St. Etienne, then with Nice last year, and most recently with Marseille, where he has continued to impress, making 36 appearances.
