One thing that Mikel Arteta has taught Arsenal supporters throughout his tenure as Arsenal manager is that he is not afraid to be consistent with his team selection. Be there three games in a week, the Spaniard has put faith in his side and not made drastic changes.
Therefore, in the first game since he signed his new contract, I expect a very similar line-up to the one which beat West Ham last weekend. Ben White’s fitness need not be risked ahead of the North London Derby, especially considering how Rob Holding has performed in his stead.
The only change I would make is bringing in Emile Smith Rowe for Gabriel Martinelli. The Brazilian had a pretty quiet match besides the cross for Gabriel Magalhaes’ winner. An assist, I know, yet the wider context of his display was not as dynamic as I would have liked.

Smith Rowe is better to allow Nuno Tavares to overlap and the pair appear to work in better harmony than when the fellow Portuguese speaker is selected. Mainly as the England international hugs the touchline far less than Martinelli, allowing Tavares more space to make runs. Other than this, no change.

I'm sure I sound like a stuck record, but again, not much needs to change for me when things are going well. The only real concerns I had going into this one were the injuries to Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu, but if they are 100% ready, which sounds possible, then I would like to see them start.
Rob Holding was brilliant against West Ham last week, but Leeds presents another huge game and it will be a big bonus if White can play a part ahead of the NLD. I would be tempted to put Cedric at right-back while replacing Nuno Tavares with Tomiyasu at left-back. However, Tavares' pace will come in handy against the likes of Raphinha, Jack Harrison and Daniel James.
The only other change I would make is bringing in Smith Rowe for Gabriel Martinelli, as Tom mentioned above. I was very impressed with his movement and intensity after coming off the bench at the London Stadium, so I think a start is deserved for the Englishman.

This has to be Mikel Arteta's easiest team selection of the season so far. The Leeds United game is a must-win one for Arsenal to set them up nicely for the Tottenham Hotspur clash, so it's as straightforward as naming the best XI available.
As good as Rob Holding was against West Ham United last weekend, if Benjamin White is passed fit after a hamstring issue then get him back in the team alongside Gabriel Magalhaes in central defence as he is better equipped to deal with Leeds pressing from the front. It was a breath of fresh air to see Takehiro Tomiyasu at right-back for Arsenal again and it's important he gets some more minutes under his belt ahead of the North London Derby.
In midfield, I'd have no arguments with Mohamed Elneny getting the nod over Albert Sambi Lokonga again as the Egyptian has barely put a foot wrong since coming into the side against Chelsea.
Of course, Bukayo Saka is an automatic starter in the form he's in, I thought Eddie Nketiah delivered his best game in an Arsenal shirt last week and it's an easy choice for him to lead the line instead of Alexandre Lacazette. The only difficult decision is who completes the front three - I'll go for Gabriel Martinelli simply because he scored a brace in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.

With three wins in a row this Arsenal side has found some real consistency in the past few weeks. As a result, I wouldn't look to make too many changes if were in charge.
I wouldn't replace Aaron Ramsdale despite his near red card challenge on Jarrod Bowen and I don't think I'd look to risk Ben White, meaning that Rob Holding starts. Takehiro Tomiyasu could only last 60 minutes or so against West Ham but I'd throw him in again, and with Leeds' poor defence I'd give Nuno Tavares another shot, but with fair warning that if he's defensively poor again then playing Cedric there remains an option.
Mohamed Elneny has to continue at the base of the midfield and Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard are obvious picks on either side.
Eddie Nketiah will have a point to prove up against the side where he failed to make too much of an impact on loan and after coming so close last week I'd start him in the hope of getting a goal this time out. Bukayo Saka is an obvious pick on the right, and after his brace against Leeds in the reverse fixture, I'd look to keep Gabriel Martinelli in on the left.

For me, Nuno Tavares' continued defensive lapses are a big concern, and at this crucial stage of the season, I wouldn't risk losing more potential points by playing him. With Takehiro Tomiyasu back I would look to use that as a reason to switch Cedric Soares over to left back and provide that bit more defensive solidity.
That means you can give Granit Xhaka license to push up a bit more as he has done in a 4-3-3 and I would keep the midfield the same as it has been in the past few weeks.
Up front I'm keeping the same trio that started last week as well. Eddie Nketiah has unfinished business with Leeds while Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli both scored against them last time out.
