Arsenal legends reunite following 'welcome' Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe advice

Arsenal legends Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira were spotted together at Selhurst Park on Saturday following Crystal Palace's win over Watford.

The pair, who were part of the famous invincibles team in 2003/04, were pictured having a conversation as Vieira shared a smile with his former teammate.

Just a couple of weeks ago, Bergkamp attended Arsenal's clash with Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium. The Dutchman caught up with youngsters Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe prior to the match, heaping praise on them and passing on advice in the process.

"We learned a lot from the English guys," he said in a video shared by Arsenal's social media team. "They know what English football means. They know what Arsenal means. And you guys know that as well.

"So if you bring that to the team, fantastic. You know that aggression, that passion, that's what I like about you. You can tell you are English guys."

Speaking to the press ahead of his side's fixture against Leeds, Mikel Arteta was asked about the impact of club legends attending games and speaking to players. While admitting that it's good to have them around, he reiterated that anyone who is critical of the club will not be welcome.

"There are many, many more positives than negatives, and we have a great example with ex-players and what happened a few weeks ago at the Emirates - it was emotional, it was natural and organic and is just happening. Now, hopefully, they have realised that anyone who wants to contribute to what we're doing, genuinely contribute, with advice or support or whatever, he's more than welcome to come.

"Anyone that wants to poison the club, he's going to be very far away from the club. We have so much success and so many incredible people and players in this football club's history, and we have to encourage that to come back to the club to make us strong. That's my aim and the club's aim."
