Arsenal legend Thierry Henry wants to return to management and the USMNT could be an option.
Gregg Berhalter's contract expired after last year's Qatar World Cup and Henry is currently out of work in football because he is not following Roberto Martinez from Belgium to Portugal as assistant coach. After a trophy-laden career in Europe with Monaco, Arsenal and Barcelona, Henry joined New York Red Bulls in 2010 and has also had a stint coaching in MLS with Montreal Impact.
Henry was quizzed about the prospect of managing the USMNT and whether it could be a good fit for the Frenchman given his experience on both sides of the pond. It is being reported that U.S. Soccer is not expected to make a decision on Berhalter's replacement until the summer and former Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch has been linked with the role.

Henry delivered a telling response to questions about a return to management with the USMNT, admitting that he knows the players and the league. "Would I put my name in the hat? First and foremost, that's a tricky one to talk about," Henry said on CBS Sports' coverage of the Champions League.
"Roberto Martinez went to coach Portugal and I'm not going with him. "Being a number two is no longer something I would like to do.
"Massive respect for the boss, he gave me an opportunity when no one else did. "I'd like to have a crack again."
Henry added: "Do I know the players? Yeah, I know the players. Do I know the league? Yeah, I know the league. "It's a different ballgame to talk about it now like that, but would I want to be a manager at any level?
"Yes, of course, that's something I would want to do. "But to go back to the U.S. national team and the U.S. in general, what's the plan? What's the philosophy? What do you want to be?"
