Arsenal have joined the race to sign Aaron Hickey, according to a report.
The former Hearts defender has a number of suitors throughout Europe and Arsenal are the latest.
It means he could end up competing with Kieran Tierney for club and country but the Tynecastle side would be due a sizeable sell-on fee.
AC Milan, Newcastle, Liverpool, Brentford, Aston Villa and Napoli have all also been linked with a move.
But Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli say the Gunners have started negotiations with Bologna over the 19-year-old.
And they say Bologna are looking for around £17m to sell him in the summer after an impressive campaign.
The Serie A side sit 13th in the table and Hickey could be attracted by the prospect of European football.
Hickey has said he wants to stay at Bologna and intends to do so.
Hearts would be due a healthy sell on fee after selling Hickey to Bologna in the summer of 2020 with the defender turning down the likes of Bayern Munich and Celtic.
