The pressure on Viktor Gyokeres ahead of his expected move to Arsenal was already significant - and that was before news broke of Liverpool’s approach for Alexander Isak.

Liverpool are believed to have registered their interest in signing the Newcastle striker in another British record deal that would be worth at least £120million.
