Arsenal have reportedly agreed to sign French defender Evan Ndicka in the summer transfer window. Clubs are able to sign pre-contract agreements with players outside of their country this winter for those whose deals expire in the summer like Ndicka and it could be the Gunners have pounced for the highly rated centre-half.
This information is according to il Romanista who say that Roma will not see Ndicka wear the colours of the Giallorossi next season because Arsenal have already reached an agreement with the player. The Gunners had loaned out Pablo Mari to Monza in the summer leaving Gabriel Magalhaes as the only senior left-footed centre-half at the club.
The Italian side will trigger an obligatory purchase option in the summer should they avoid relegation. Mikel Arteta has favoured having naturally left-footed and right-footed centre-halves playing on their relevant sides.
