The 26-year-old has been linked with a return to the Emirates as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his squad for the upcoming season. The last campaign saw the Spaniard fall short of a return to the Champions League, with the summer window offering the perfect opportunity to strengthen.
One of the first names through the door is midfielder Fabio Vieira, though he looks set to be the first of a few incomings at the club.
