Arsenal's January transfer pursuit of Mykhaylo Mudryk is set to go the distance next month. The Gunners have already had a £55million bid rejected by Shakhtar Donetsk and are expected to return with a higher offer for the winger.
The Ukraine international was linked with a move to the Premier League in the summer but failed to secure a switch. This season, the forward has continued to impress with eye-catching performances in the Champions League against Real Madrid and Celtic.
Ahead of the winter window, Mudryk has used every opportunity to hint at his desire to move to the Emirates Stadium. Alongside a number of social media messages, the 21-year-old even discussed his future in an interview with CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs and claimed he wouldn't be able to say no to the move.

It's understood that the Gunners will revisit the situation once the January window opens, with Shakhtar's representatives insisting they would sanction the deal should the right price be met. "Negotiations are continuing. We receive offers, but they are not the ones we would like to see on our table," CEO Serhii Palkin said.
"We are open to negotiations, ready to exchange ideas and figures. If we will agree, then let it be so. If we will not, then let it be another time."
Mudryk hasn't put a stop to his cryptic messages and has showed Arsenal exactly what they will be getting should they sign him. The forward posted a video over a minute long full of goals, skills, assists and impressive play on his private Instagram page.
The clips included his goals against RB Leipzig and Celtic, as well as a number of dazzling attacking runs. Alongside the video, the Gunners target wrote: "Thank God and ZSU (Armed Forces of Ukraine) for this year."
The winger also used 21 Savage and Drake's song 'Circo Loco', with a lyric reading, 'Still gotta see the Gunners win the Premier League'. The hints keep coming.
