Arsenal were sensational against Tottenham in the North London Derby last Sunday. Mikel Arteta’s side ran out comfortable 2-0 winners in their big derby match-up.
The victory means that the Gunners moved eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table. Manchester City dropped points against Manchester United on the same matchday which allowed Arsenal to extend their gap to second place
Mikel Arteta’s side are set to play Manchester United on Sunday, hoping to pick up three points to maintain their distance at the top of the league. And ahead of the clash, the Red Devils have received a double injury setback.

Anthony Martial and Diogo Dalot are set to miss United’s trip to north London, with the duo were not seen among the travelling members of the squad according to our friends at the Manchester Evening News.
This comes after Erik ten Hag’s side already took a hit following the suspension of Casemiro. The Brazilian was booked in the 79th minute of Manchester United’s 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening. This was Casemiro’s fifth yellow card of the season, meaning he misses the clash against Arsenal due to the totting up of yellow cards.
Despite his importance to the Manchester United side, ten Hag gloated that he will not be needed to overcome Arsenal. Speaking to Sky after the draw against Palace, he said: “We beat Arsenal last time without Casemiro and we will have to do it again.
“I think it’s instinctive, he went for the ball but he missed it. It was also a situation down the right-hand side that could have been a dangerous situation so he wanted to stop it, and that was his reaction.”
Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-1 earlier in the season, which also proved to be the Gunners’ only defeat in the Premier League so far in this campaign. But, with The Red Devils’ expected absentees, Arteta will be hoping that Arsenal can exact revenge for the defeat earlier in the season.
