Arsenal could look to pounce for Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez with the possibility he hits the market this summer.
The Argentine forward has enjoyed a swift rise since moving to the San Siro, helping his team win the Serie A title last term.
He signed a new deal in Milan which ties him down until 2026 recently but Inter will reportedly listen to offers.
Arsenal remain in the market for a forward after letting Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang go with the danger of a mass exodus to follow.
Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are out of contract come the summer which could leave the Gunners light in attack.
A move for Martinez, with whom they have previously been linked, may therefore make sense with La Gazzetta dello Sport reporting that Inter will listen to offers for the 24-year-old as they eye alternatives.

Inter have concerns over Martinez, with his Champions League goal return an issue, whilst he has struggled to adapt to his new striking partner Edin Dzeko.
Jurgen Klopp and his Liverpool side recently came up against the Argentine frontman in Europe.
The Reds secured the victory but in the lead up the German hailed the forward, saying: "Lautaro Martinez is one of the most exciting strikers in the world, probably.”
The player himself responded by saying: “His words are pleasing and I can say thank you."
Arsenal were looking to raid Serie A for Dusan Vlahovic last month before his switch to Juventus.
Arteta spoke positively about the possibility of doing business last month, insisting the club were, despite their subsequent failures in the market, keen to do business.
He said: "If it's the right player, we can afford and we can do want we want to do, we will discuss it and come to the best possible decision. We are open.
"I think with the amount of things and the way we want to evolve the squad, we have to maximise every window in many different ways."
Despite his intentions the north Londoners allowed several players to depart without bringing in any new faces - a move that Arteta backed.
He claimed: “We had a clear plan of what we can do but then it has to be doable. Edu and his team have done a great job. We are very clear we only want the best people and the best players at this club.
“When we are in a rush and the reasons to get a player on board are not the right ones we didn’t do it.”
