Arsenal have been handed a huge boost following an injury scare to striker Gabriel Jesus in their win over Liverpool on Sunday. The Brazilian has been key to the way the Gunners play, having a huge impact on the side since joining in the summer for roughly £45million.
The 25-year-old has been credited with lifting the standards at the club, with his positive attitude having just as much of an impact as his all-round quality. However, there were fears when he went to ground against the Reds, having been on the receiving end of an elbow from Kostas Tsimikas.
It took some time, but after some medical attention, he was back playing again before being substituted for Eddie Nketiah. "I don't know," Mikel Arteta said on whether the Brazilian had been knocked out. "I haven't been with the doctor yet, but I'm sure they're checking him. He seemed OK after the game. I don't actually know what happened, but we will obviously assess how he is."

Given the congestion of fixtures coming up, the Spaniard will be hopeful that his star striker is available for selection due to his sheer importance. Luckily, it appears as though that will very much be the case, according to reports.
BBC Sport reporter Alex Howell reports that Jesus completed the necessary concussion protocol before coming back onto the pitch again. The Brazilian has since been checked again by the club doctor and is cleared as being fine and should then be available for selection.
It's a huge boost that could well see him as part of the squad travelling to Norway in midweek as Arsenal face off against Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League. While Nketiah has often been the first choice in Europe this season, merely having Jesus as an option could be useful for Arteta.
