Arsenal's search for another quality central midfielder, to add to the depth provided by Albert Sambi Lokonga and Mohamed Elneny for Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka, has seen them linked with a number of players from a variety of league's.
Regarding a central midfield acquisition in January, football.london understands the Gunners could revive their summer interest in Danilo. Youri Tielemans could move to north London in January if Leicester wish to receive a fee with the Belgian confirming he will run down his contract that expires in 2023.
However, the Gunners are not expected to push for the move and will wait until the summer when the 25-year-old will be available on a free transfer.

In attack, Facundo Torres and Mykhaylo Mudryk have been linked with the Gunners, the latter has impressed greatly in the Champions League with Shakhtar Donetsk grabbing three goals. Torres, who plays for Orlando City, in the MLS, has reportedly held talks with the north London outfit.
The Gunners have had a long-standing interest in Mudryk and, according to Spanish publication Defensa Central, sent scouts to watch the Ukrainian forward play for Shakhtar in the Champions League against Real Madrid earlier this season. However, they ended up also being impressed by Federico Valverde.
The Uruguayan is a manager's dream as his versatility has seen him excel playing on the right hand side both offensively and defensively, despite his favoured positions being in the centre of midfield. His international team-mate Rodrigo Bentancur, who has impressed at Spurs this season, has given Valverde the highest of praise.
In an interview with the Italian press, Bentancur said of his Uruguay teammate before the World Cup: "In South America, football feels different than in Europe.
"For us every minute is the last we live. I’m waiting the start of this World Cup but without too much anxiety.
"Uruguay has Valverde who is one of the best in the world in his role. There is Suarez and Cavani too; we can have a great World Cup."
Both Bentancur and Valverde along with Torres, who also plays for the Uruguayan national team, have been selected to represent their country at the World Cup and they kick off their campaign on Thursday, November 24 against Son Heung-min's South Korea.
