Arsenal icon Thierry Henry appeared to take plenty of delight in seeing north London rivals Tottenham fall to defeat in the Champions League on Tuesday night. Spurs conceded twice in the 90th minute to lose their second group stage game away at Sporting CP.
The Lilywhites appeared to have control over the game in Portugal, but lacked that cutting edge to find the goal they needed to take the lead. They were then punished for it in injury time as Paulinho and then Arthur found the back of the net to condemn them to defeat.
Speaking after the game, Antonio Conte said: "The level of the Champions League is high. It's very high. you know that to play in this competition you have to reduce the mistakes, because at the end you can pay. Tonight we paid a lot and now we are talking about a loss against a team that showed to be used to playing in this competition.

"It's a pity. For sure we have to analyse very well the game, also the players, it's right but they know very well that this level is a very important level and to play this competition you have to continue to improve. You have to continue to improve yourself but this is normal."
While they will have to recoup after the loss, the red half of north London definitely saw the funny side of the result for their closest rivals. None more so than Henry, who appeared to have plenty of fun talking through the winning goals afterwards.
Speaking on CBS Sports, he said: "I am not laughing. No, I am not [enjoying it]. Put the camera on me. I screamed because of the meg [for Arthur’s goal]. Blimey. Wow!"
Jamie Carragher then responded with: "An unmissable moment. Do you see the way he celebrated that goal for Lisbon?”
To which Henry hit back with: "No, that goal, I don’t care if it was against Spurs. Look at that step over, meg, see you later. Hugo [Lloris], meg, see you later. 2-0. Bye!”
The former Arsenal striker appeared to take plenty of delight in the loss for Spurs, however there are plenty of games left for them to get something from this competition as well as others. The Lilywhites will in turn be hoping they can have the last laugh.
