Arsenal fan Piers Morgan hits back at John Terry for four-word Chelsea verdict after cup win

Celebrations have continued following Chelsea's dramatic FIFA Club World Cup against Palmeiras in extra-time.

The Blues took the lead in the 54th minute courtesy of Romelu Lukaku, with Callum Hudson Odoi delivering an inch-perfect cross for the Belgium international to latch onto and power a header home.

However, it didn't take Palmeiras long to level the scoreline as Thiago Silva was penalised for a handball in the 62nd minute, with Raphael Veiga converting the spot-kick.

Chelsea created plenty of chances to win the game but extra-time was forced, adding to the anxiety amongst the global Chelsea fan base.

Thomas Tuchel's men continued to push for a winner and in the 117th minute, their efforts were rewarded as the Londoners were handed a penalty following another handball incident.

Champions League hero Kai Havertz stepped up and slotted home the spot-kick, which in the end was the difference between the two sides on the night.

Unsurprisingly, Chelsea fans are thrilled with their beloved club adding another honour to their growing trophy cabinet and club legend John Terry also shared his delight.

Terry wrote on Twitter: "We've won it all."

Interestingly, this sparked a reaction from well-recognised Arsenal fan Piers Morgan who simply couldn't resist having a small dig.

In response to Terry's tweet, Morgan wrote on his Twitter account: "But never Invincible."

Under the stewardship of owner Roman Abramovich, Chelsea have now officially won every single trophy possible but to go a whole 38 game Premier League season undefeated is something that the club from west London hasn't achieved.
