Sow transfer battle
Arsenal have reportedly entered the race to sign Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Djibril Sow. The Gunners are understood to be keen on bringing a new central midfielder to the Emirates Stadium amid concerns about the fitness of Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey.
According to Sport BILD, the Gunners have joined Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest in the race to land the all-round midfielder. Sow is entering the final 18 months of his contract in Frankfurt and could be sold next month to ensure the Bundesliga side receive a reasonable transfer fee.
However, the report states that a 'lucrative' would need to be offered to convince the Europa League holders to sell. Over the summer, it's understood Forest placed a €50million (£43million) package - including a £17million transfer fee- to land Sow as the newly-promoted side brought in over 20 players.

Dumfries shock transfer proposal
Arsenal are being tipped to beat London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham to the signing of Inter star Denzel Dumfries if they include Takehiro Tomiyasu in the deal. Dumfries has impressed with the Netherlands at the World Cup and was the star of the show in their last-16 victory against the USMNT.
Todd Boehly and Graham Potter seemed to be the leaders in the Dumfries transfer race but that may change following a new report that involves a potential proposal Arsenal are lining up which would involve a hefty fee and the shock departure of Tomiyasu
CMW are reporting that the Japanese international, who only arrived in north London in the summer of 2021, would be included in the deal with the Gunners prepared to pay the asking price of €40million (£34.5million) and send Tomiyasu back to Serie A.
Arsenal eyeing Musah reunion
Arsenal are one of a number of clubs keeping tabs on their former academy player Yunus Musah following a number of impressive World Cup displays from the midfielder. Musah was a key player in the USMNT's campaign in Qatar with a particularly impressive display against England in the group stages.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners have been scouting Musah and if any of the Gunners representatives were in Qatar, they would have certainly been impressed by Musah. Romano also explained that there are several other teams in the race for Musah who could leave in the coming months.
