Arsenal urged to complete Cristiano Ronaldo signing
Former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman has urged his former club to sign Cristiano Ronaldo following his release from Manchester United. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is currently without a club in the aftermath of his explosive TV interview with Piers Morgan last week.
Ronaldo's future at Old Trafford had been in doubt for some time after a number of incidents this season and his interview on TalkTV last week was ultimately the final nail in the coffin. United were said to be 'furious' with Ronaldo after the interview after the 37-year-old claimed that he felt betrayed by the club.
As Ronaldo prepares to kick off his World Cup campaign today with Portugal, many clubs have been tipped to sign the legendary forward , including Arsenal. The Gunners sit top of the Premier League after their sensational start to the season and are hoping to improve Mikel Arteta's squad in January.
Despite the signing not fitting into Arsenal's transfer strategy over recent windows, Seaman has urged the Gunners to swoop in to sign Ronaldo to add more firepower to their frontline. "Ronaldo is far from done, and he would be perfect for Arsenal," he told TalkTV.

Arsenal face 'difficult' Sergej Milinkovic-Savic January deal
Despite reports linking Lazio and Serbia midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic with a January transfer to Arsenal, it looks to be too difficult of a deal to pull off.
According to Fabrizio Romano, there were no talks between the two parties during the summer transfer window and it will be really difficult for Edu to secure a deal for the 27-year-old in January. The Gunners have not showed any intention of paying the £65million asking price set by the Italian outfit whilst he is away with his nation at the World Cup.
Danilo talks stall after failed £20m summer move
According to Fabrizio Romano, Danilo remains on Arsenal’s transfer target list since July and he is appreciated by the club with Edu having a strong relationship with his agents.
At the moment there are still no changes in the negotiation with Palmeiras or the player’s side. Romano added that there is somewhat of a waiting game with the Gunners assessing their options ahead of the January transfer window.
Reports earlier this month had claimed that Arsenal failed with a £20million bid in the summer but that a similar offer could now see the Brazilian outfit let go of their talented midfielder.
