Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has statistically been the worst finisher in the Premier League this season.
The Frenchman has scored just four times in the English top-flight this term, two of which have come from the penalty spot, one of the reasons that Mikel Arteta's side have struggled for goals in recent times. Lacazette was handed the opportunity to lead the line back in December after former captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang fell out with Arteta following a disciplinary breach.
The former Borussia Dortmund centre-forward eventually left for La Liga giants Barcelona, leaving Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah as the only out and out strikers at the club's disposal for the remainder of the campaign - a decision that hasn't gone quite as planned for the north London club. In fact, as per Twitter account Orbinho, Lacazette is currently underperforming his xG (expected goals) at a greater than any other player in the Premier League.

The 30-year-old's struggles in front of goal have coincided with the aforementioned Aubameyang thriving for new club Barcelona. The Gabon international has been in excellent form for the Blaugrana, scoring ten times in just 14 appearances for Xavi's men.
Now, Arteta has a major decision to make ahead of Arsenal's match against Southampton on Saturday afternoon, with some fans calling for the Spaniard to drop Lacazette for the trip to St Mary's Stadium. Brazilian starlet Gabriel Martinelli has predominantly been utilised as a left-winger during his time with the club but the 20-year-old has also shown that he can operate in central areas when called upon.
Hale End academy graduate Nketiah is another option if Lacazette is benched, with the former England Under-21 international making 13 league appearances from the bench so far this season.
