Arsenal have confirmed their plans for an end-of-season lap of honour following Monday night’s final home game of the season.
The Gunners host relegation Burnley at the Emirates Stadium on Monday as they close in on a first Premier League title in 22 years.
Manchester City remain two points back having beaten Crystal Palace last week to deny Arsenal the chance of sealing the title in front of their own fans.
Arsenal will be looking to avoid a slip-up of their own against the Clarets, who have nothing to play for in their final games of the campaign.
With the game moved for Sky Sports’ coverage on Monday Night Football, it will kick off at 8pm, with the traditional lap of honour expected to start swiftly following the full-time whistle, at around 10pm.
Manager Mikel Arteta and captain Martin Odegaard will address the crowd to reflect on a season which could yet still be one the club’s greatest in history.
A statement from the Arsenal Supporters' Trust read: “Arsenal have confirmed that it will be a very quick transition into the post match lap of appreciation tomorrow.
“They are aware people have to get home and will do things quickly.
“Players will stay on the pitch. Expect to hear from the Captain and Manager too.”
The celebrations will start long before the lap of honour, with thousands of Arsenal supporters set to line the streets outside the Emirates Stadium to greet the team coach ahead of Burnley's visit.
