Barcelona are interested in signing Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to recent reports.
Aubameyang has been frozen out by Gunners boss Mikel Arteta in recent times, with the club stripping him of his captaincy duties last month following a disciplinary breach.
The Gabon international has been training away from the rest of the first-team squad at the club's London Colney training base and the north Londoners would be open to bids for the 32-year-old, football.london understands.
football.london also understands that Arsenal have received an offer from Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Nassr to take the former Borussia Dortmund star on loan until the end of the current campaign with an obligation to buy for around £8million.
However, the player would prefer to stay in Europe.
According to Spanish transfer expert Gerard Romero, Barcelona could make a move for Aubameyang if they are unable to sign Juventus star Alvaro Morata.
The veteran striker, who is valued at £13.5m on Transfermarkt, is the Arsenal's highest-earner, reportedly pocketing £350,000 per week since signing a bumper new contract at the Emirates Stadium back in September 2020.
If the Gunners are able to secure some money for their former skipper, they could use the cash to fund a move for Napoli frontman Victor Osimhen.
The north Londoners are keen on the Nigerian international, according to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, via Football Italia, as Arteta looks to sign a striker this month after missing out on Fiorentina's Dusan Vlahovic.
Arteta's side are in desperate need of a centre-forward given the uncertainly surrounding Aubameyang's future whilst both Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette are into the final six months of their contracts with the club.
Osimhen signed for Napoli in the summer of 2019, joining from Ligue 1 outfit Lille for a reported £67.5m fee.
The 23-year-old's goalscoring record has been solid since joining the Italian giants, netting 19 goals and providing a further five assists in 2,929 minutes for the Naples-based club, working out at a goal contribution every 122 minutes.
