Mikel Arteta has already been busy in the summer transfer market, making four additions to his Arsenal squad so far. Marquinhos, Matt Turner, Fabio Vieira and Gabriel Jesus have all been confirmed by the club as more signings are expected.
Last year saw the Spaniard spend over £140million in refreshing his options, and he is set to repeat that feat with roughly £85million spent so far. football.london understands that a defender and a winger are expected to join this summer, with a striker already acquired.
That, however, is dependent on moving some fringe players on. Only two departures have been confirmed so far, with Konstantinos Mavropanos and Matteo Guendouzi leaving for a fee.

More work to move players on could be in the works and with that said, we take a look at who could leave and how much could be earned for the transfer fund.
Hector Bellerin
Bellerin has spent eight years at Arsenal, but spent the past season on loan at La Liga side Real Betis. Takehiro Tomiyasu was brought in to play on the right, with Cedric Soares set as the backup option.
That leaves the Spaniard with questions over his future at the Emirates, with one-year remaining on his deal. Transfermarkt currently values the full-back at £18million.
Bernd Leno
Leno has slipped down the pecking order at Arsenal and could be one that leaves in search of game time. The Germany international lost the first-team shirt to Aaron Ramsdale, while the incoming Turner looks set to become the new deputy.
With one-year left on his contract too, CIES values him at roughly £6million.
Nicolas Pepe
Pepe has struggled to deliver on his £72million price tag since joining Arsenal, spending the majority of last season on the bench. The Ivorian’s lack of playing time and large wage could see him leave while the Gunners can still receive a fee, with CIES valuing him at roughly £25million.
Pablo Mari
Mari has been in and out of the side at the Emirates, joining from Flamengo for roughly £5million in 2020. The centre-back spent the latter half of last campaign on loan at Udinese and with options ahead of him at the back, he could be one that leaves.
Transfermarkt currently values him at £4.5million, which would see the side recoup most of their transfer value.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles
Maitland-Niles has struggled to keep hold of a first-team shirt since breaking through into the Arsenal team from the academy. The 24-year-old made a plea for more playing time last summer, but a move never materialised until January, where he joined AS Roma on loan.
That switch wasn’t made permanent though and with one-year remaining on his contract, he could leave. Transfermarkt currently have his value set at £9million.
