Arsenal star Jorginho may have given Mikel Arteta the green light to sign former Chelsea and Real Madrid star Eden Hazard this summer. The winger has struggled to recapture the form he showed in the Premier League since making his big-money move to La Liga.
This has left doubts over his future, with the Gunners continually linked with a potential switch in the past year to add quality in depth to the squad. Despite his limited match time, Hazard has said that a transfer isn't in the plans, although he didn't rule out the possibility of an exit.
He told RTBF: “I would like to stay. I’ve always said that. I hope to play to prove that I can still do it. People have doubts, it’s normal. I understand that very well. But for me, I’m still here next year. You never know, but a transfer is not in the plan.”

It remains to be seen what the future may hold for Hazard, but given the perennial links with a return to London and the need for further additions to the Arsenal squad, would a move to the Emirates Stadium be possible? Well, Jorginho may have given the green light to Arteta on making a move.
The former Chelsea midfielder was asked on The Residency whether Hazard is the best player he has ever played with. He responded: "100% he's the best player I've ever played with."
While it may be farfetched to suggest Arsenal would have interest in a move this summer, adding the experience of Hazard alongside some familiar faces already at the club could take the side to the next level.
