Arsenal are preparing a bid for Gabriel Jesus and have arrived at a figure that they are poised to table for the Manchester City striker, according to reports.
The Brazilian netted four times in a 5-1 thrashing of Watford at the weekend, as his club edged a step closer to defending their Premier League crown. The attacker has been linked with a move to the Emirates after not getting the game time he craves under Pep Guardiola.
But when asked about a possible move to the Emirates after the Watford win, Jesus said: “Not time to think about this.

“You expect me to say this and it’s true. Not time to think about this, now is the best moment of the season.”
Now, Football London understands that Arsenal have targeted Jesus and Roma striker Tammy Abraham as potential summer signings. It adds that the Gunners are expected to offer £35m for him.
The report states that the player has been in close discussions with agent Edu and is open to leaving the Etihad. Arsenal had initially contacted City about Jesus in November.
Meanwhile, Ruhr Nachrichten (via Sport ) reports that Erling Haaland rushed to meet agent Mino Raiola this weekend regarding his future. The striker met with his representative after Dortmund’s 3-1 loss to Bayern Munich, which saw their opponents lift the Bundesliga for the tenth year in a row.
Haaland will be wanting to lift silverware of his own and has been linked with a mega money move to Manchester City, with an offer already being tabled. His meeting with Raiola is said to have been pre-scheduled and was focused on his release clause, which is reported to be £63m.
It is thought his release clause can only be triggered if the player indicates that he wants it enacted. This needs to be done by April 30, giving him just days to make a decision.
