Arsenal have confirmed Japan international Mana Iwabuchi will leave the club this summer following the expiration of her contract.
The 30-year-old joined the Gunners in May 2021 following a successful spell in the Women's Super League with Aston Villa. She marked her debut with a goal against Okzheptes in the UEFA Women’s Champions League a couple of months later.
In total, the midfielder made 28 appearances in all competitions and scored a total of six goals. She last featured for Jonas Eidevall's side in the 9-1 win over FC Zurich in the Champions League in December, as she came off the bench to score her team's ninth goal of the night.

However, due to a lack of game time she was on the move in January and completed a loan switch to North London rivals Tottenham for the remainder of the 22/23 campaign. She made 13 appearances for the Lilywhites and scored once.
Despite racking up more regular game time at Spurs, Iwabuchi was overlooked for Japan's World Cup squad ahead of this summer's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. She's represented her country at the last three World Cups in 2011, 2015 and 2019 but will be a notable absentee this time around.
The club said in a statement on Wednesday: "Everyone at the club would like to thank Mana for her contribution here at Arsenal and wish her every success in the next chapter."
Iwabuchi becomes the latest player to depart after it was confirmed Rafaelle Souza and Fran Stenson will also leave the club following the expiration of their contracts.
