Arsenal made relatively easy work of AC Milan on Tuesday to win the Dubai Super Cup.
Martin Odegaard opened the scoring with a fine free kick from the edge of the area, bending the ball over the wall and past the rooted Ciprian TÄtÄruÅanu in the Milan goal.
Milan improved after going behind and were pushing for an equaliser until Reiss Nelson's lucky strike. Fabio Vieira did very well to work space inside the area, before finding Nelson whose strike took a big deflection past the keeper.
In truth, Milan could have little arguments over Arsenal's 2-0 half-time lead and showed little urgency to close the gap.
A tactic of long balls looking for Divock Origi simply didn't work, with the returning Ben White or Rob Holding mopping up with east.
Only once Fikayo Tomori headed home Sandro Tonali's free kick 12 minutes from time did Milan appear willing to kick on, but Arsenal were able to keep them at arm's length to see out another impressive victory.
