Police made 17 arrests as tens of thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters gathered in central London ahead of the anniversary of the October 7 attacks in Israel.

Three people were detained for assaulting an emergency worker, two for supporting a proscribed organisation, three for assault, eight were arrested on suspicion of public order offences, four of which were allegedly racially aggravated, and one for a breach of Public Order Act conditions.
