The Cleveland Browns do not have a first round pick in the 2023 NFL draft, but all of their division rivals do. And the first one on the clock was the Pittsburgh Steelers, who traded up with the New England Patriots to select Georgia offensive tackle Broderick Jones with pick no. 14.
Jones is my third-ranked offensive tackle and 18th overall prospect in the draft class, so the value adds up. He was the fourth offensive tackle off the board thus far throughout the first night of the draft. In a division with the nuanced Myles Garrett, the Steelers made an urgent move to get their guy.
