There’s more trouble around Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon. Cincinnati police have refiled has had a gun charge that had previously been dropped.
Mixon allegedly pointed a gun at a woman on Jan. 21, the day the Bengals traveled to face the Buffalo Bills. The initial charge was dismissed less than 24 hours after it was filed, with authorities stating during the court proceeding that they reserved the right to refile the case upon gathering new information.
Before this legal trouble, there had been rumors around the league that Mixon might be a cap casualty this offseason. The money and production don’t seem to match up, especially with Joe Burrow needing a contract extension soon. There is a good chance that Mixon never suits up for the Browns‘ in-state rival again.
