It has not been a kind season to the Seattle Seahawks’ division rivals in the City of Angels, the Los Angeles Rams. One year removed from a surprising Wild Card appearance, the Rams are currently having a season many believed they would have last year.
Los Angeles is in dead last in the NFC West with a record of 2-4, and it does not get any easier as they take on the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football. The Vikings are coming off their first loss of the season, a narrow 31-29 defeat at home to the Detroit Lions, so you can bet they will be playing with a certain level of anger, and the Rams might just be the recipient.
However, the good news for LA is the fact they will have both of their top wide receivers back, Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, as the latter was just activated off the injured reserve list on Thursday.
Of course, one can’t help but wonder if this is perhaps Kupp’s last game as a Ram. He has been the subject of a litany of trade rumors and could be a viable target for teams ahead of the November 5th deadline. The MVP of Super Bowl LVI has dealt with plenty of injuries in the last few years as his body has slowly been betraying him, but when healthy, he is still a force for any secondary to reckon with.
