- Arne Slot has landed a new job after being sacked by Liverpool over the summer.
- Slot was relieved of his duties at Anfield after a disappointing campaign that saw Liverpool finish fifth in the Premier League just 12 months after winning the title.
- He was linked with the Netherlands job after Ronald Koeman stepped down following the World Cup, but said he wanted to prioritise a return to club football instead.
- However, he has now been appointed to Uefa's Technical Observer Group, joining former Liverpool managers Rafael Benitez and Roy Hodgson.
- Uefa confirmed the group will monitor European games with "stats and video assistance, enabling them to deliver detailed reports on the latest developments in coaching, which are shared among the footballing community to give a dynamic account of the state of the game."
