In the race for Virginia's seventh congressional district, Republicans are eyeing a chance to flip the seat currently occupied by Democrat Abigail Spanberger, who has decided to run for governor. Among the contenders is retired Lieutenant Colonel Jeff Sachs, a 20-year U.S. Army veteran with a vision to bring change to the district.
Sachs, speaking about his candidacy, expressed his concerns over the declining state of the nation. He highlighted constitutional, moral, and social decline, as well as the economic struggles faced by his neighbors. Rising interest rates, soaring food and gas prices, along with the ongoing border crisis and ideological tensions in schools, have motivated Sachs to enter the political arena. As a father of five, he feels a sense of duty to create a better future for his children, one they can be proud of and flourish in.
