Derby building surveyors Armsons Barlow has enjoyed one of the most successful periods in the 50-year history of the two firms which joined to create it a year ago.
At the end of 2021, Armsons joined forces with chartered quantity surveyors and building surveyors Barlow & Associates and relocated to Vernon Street in Derby. The new company has landed a number of new contracts as well as growing its client base, moving into luxury retail, industrial, residential and commercial for private, blue chip and international clients.
Examples include the fit out of a 78,000 sq ft warehouse, headquarters and research centre development for Swedish medical technology manufacturer Getinge and working closely with flexible office provider Cubo with its UK growth plans. Armsons Barlow has also strengthened its team with the appointments of Paul Hanson as associate director, along with Ryan Thompson as senior quantity surveyor and Gavin Hirst as quantity surveyor.
