Detectives have launched a manhunt after an armed thug robbed a Kilmarnock shop late last night.
The man threatened a member of staff at the Macphail Drive store at around 9.15pm before making off with a small sum of cash.
The suspect, who had his face covered and was wearing a knee-length high-viz jacket, grey jogging trousers and black trainers made off in the direction of New Farm Loch.
