Armed police were called to a Leeds residential area on Tuesday after residents reported seeing men armed with machetes brawling in the street.
Around 5.25pm, West Yorkshire Police (WYP) were called to Roundhay Road, Harehills, on Tuesday March 7, after residents shared their concern. A group of men were reportedly fighting with machetes in the street.
Armed officers swarmed the area, but upon their arrival, they found the suspects were no longer there. WYP are conducting enquiries and would like anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.

A spokesperson for WYP said: "At 5.25pm today (Tuesday), police received a report of a disturbance involving males with machetes in Roundhay Road, Harehills. Armed officers were deployed to the area and no suspects were present.
"Enquiries into the incident are continuing. Anyone with information that may assist is asked to contact Leeds District CID on 101, or by using the 101LiveChat facility, quoting log 1388 of 7 March. Information can also be reported anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or online."
