Armed police have swarmed a Fife bus station after a passenger allegedly tried to take a sword on board the Edinburgh bus on Sunday night.
Officers were called to Halbeath Park and Ride in Dunfermline, after the alarm was raised on April 16.

Footage taken from the scene shows several officers with guns were pictured beside a Citylink bus bound for Edinburgh report the Record.
A shocking picture appeared to show a sword sitting on top of a suitcase with two armed officers standing beside it and a second image showed the suitcase opened up with police carrying out enquiries nearby.
At around 7.45pm an eyewitness said on Twitter: "Drama at the Halbeath Park and Ride.
"Some guy tried to take a sword on the Megabus."

It's understood the bus, which was bound for Edinburgh, was evacuated.
Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
